Tonight we find out who got kicked off American Idol and won’t be joining the Top 10 finalists on the summer tour. Or, maybe the Idol judges will use their one save vote on the contestant who must sing for their life. American Idol big shot Nigel announced a “shocking” results show tonight, so we’ll soon see how shocking it really turns out to be, or the lack thereof. Idol fans have been curious to see which Idol contestant from season 10 the judges would choose to use their save vote on, and maybe just maybe, tonight will be the night. Or not.

Motown video celebration with the idol performances from last night and judges comments. The Idol judges (Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson) are introduced to the stage and take their seats, and Ryan Seacrest follows. 30 Million votes were received after last night’s show. Ryan claims the results tonight “may shock you”.

The Top 11 Idol finalists are introduced to center stage. Video clip of Marc Anthony (Jennifer Lopez’ husband) discussing the tutoring of the finalists prior to their performances last night.

The Top 11 group song “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”…

Stevie Wonder is in the house!!! Stevie’s singing “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours”. Stevie Wonder goes into a surprise “Happy Birthday” song for Steven Tyler, including a birthday cake brought onstage. That was cool!

Sugarland and past American Idol Jennifer Hudson are scheduled to perform tonight. Yeah! The lame Ford commercial video nonsense is shown.

Looking for the bottom 3, says Ryan. Lauren Alaina, Pia Toscano and Scotty McCreery are brought center stage. All three are SAFE! All three will be going on the 2011 Idol LIVE Summer Tour!

Sugarland performs their hit song “Stuck Like Glue”. Love love love Sugarland…

Video banter between the Top 11 Idols about if pro wrestling is fake or not, and discussing their favorite wrestling stars on tv. Lame.

James Durbin and Paul McDonald are brought center stage. Both are NOT safe tonight! Ryan says “I mean, you’re REALLY not safe tonight”. Stage doors open to find wrestling giant Hulk Hogan and both Paul McDonald and James Durbin are shocked, mouths dropped to the floor in shock. Hulk Hogan announces to the two stunned Idols that they’re both SAFE and going on the summer tour!

Jacob Lusk, Stefano Langone and Thia Megia are brought center stage. Jacob is safe and going on the Idol tour! Thia is in the Bottom 3 tonight. Stefano is also in the Bottom three.

Naima Adedapo, Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams are brought center stage. Naima is shocked to hear that she’s safe and going on tour. Either Casey or Haley is in the bottom three. Casey Abrams is in the bottom 3 tonight, and Haley Reinhart is safe and going on to compete in the Top 10.

The Bottom 3 Idol contestants are Casey Abrams, Thia Megia and Stefano Langone. Who among these three will be eliminated and sent home or saved with the judges vote tonight?

Jennifer Hudson sings “Where You At”. Love love love Jennifer Hudson.

Thia Megia is SAFE and going on to compete in the Top 10 and is going on the summer tour.

The Idol Bottom 2 are Casey Abrams and Stefano Langone. Shocking results tonight?

“The person with the lowest number of votes and in danger of leaving tonight is” Casey Abrams. Stefano Langone is SAFE! Casey must sing for his life and hope the judges will use their save vote to keep him in the competition, or be voted off tonight.

Casey starts singing his song but Randy Jackson stopped him shortly after starting his song, and Randy and Steven Tyler together announce that they don’t need to hear him sing and they’re using the save vote on Casey Abrams tonight! Casey Abrams is SAFE! The Judges use the save vote with Casey!

The Top 11 are still the Top 11. No one got voted off tonight – they are all safe!!! All 11 Idol finalists will go on tour this summer, not just a Top 10. Two contestants will be voted off next week.

This is American Idol! Two Idol contestants will be eliminated tonight after last night’s Elvis themed performances that left some of the top idols feeling safe and secure, and others not so much. We’re LIVE with the results!

Video clip of Michael Lynche being saved by the judges and the excitement in the audience. Video clip of the Idols in Las Vegas, Adam Lambert telling contestants to “wake up”, and judges comments about last night’s performances. “Two idols will see their dreams come to a close” says Ryan. Double elimination tonight!

Over 34 million votes came in, the most for this season, says Ryan. Tonight brings a “dramatic elimination” since the judges already used the save vote on Michael. Ryan introduces the judges and says it’s going be a difficult night for the contestants. Ruh roh.

Group performance singing an Elvis medley. Typical lip-sync, nothing special.

“Going Green” Ford Commercial. zzzzz. The votes are in.

Casey, Andrew and Aaron take center stage. Ryan repeats the judges critique of their Elvis performances. “Andrew, it’s the end of the road” says Ryan. Andrew Garcia is voted off. Boom. Wow that happened fast! Casey and Aaron are both safe! Andrew sings his exit song, pitchy as usual.

Idol Gives Back is next week. Info can be found at www.idolgivesback.org. Kara DioGuardi and Elliott Yamin video of Angola Africa to help displaced families with bed nets and information about protecting children from malaria-diseased insects. Many celebrity performers are confirmed for the special program next week.

Brooke White and Justin Gaston sing. Twitter reaction to this performance are mixed. “Debacle”, “they suck” are the nicest terms so far. Ryan says it’s available on iTunes if you care, haha.

Bottom row contestants Lee, Siobhan, Katie, Michael, Crystal and Tim take center stage together. Ryan repeats the judges critique for each performance. Crystal is safe! Siobhan is safe! Lee is safe!

The Bottom Three are: Michael Lynche, Tim Urban and Katie Stevens!

Next week the Top 7 remaining contestants will sing “inspirational songs”, with guest performance by Alicia Keys. Adam Lambert sings “Whad’ya Want From Me”. Several online reports say Adam was brought on to mentor because his sales are not doing well and the hope is his appearance on the show last night and tonight will boost his sales… erm, okay. Adam brought laser lights but Twitter peeps say it didn’t help him. Whatever.

Tim Urban is sent back to safety! WTH?!!!! Michael Lynche and Katie Stevens are in the Bottom Two!!!

Katie Stevens is voted off tonight. Michael Lynche is safe! Katie sings “Let It Be” as her exit song from the competition. Video of Katie’s time on the show is shown as the Idol Exit Song “Leave Right Now” plays in the background.

This is American Idol! Last night’s Lennon/McCartney theme brought Idol fans some good performances, for a change. We’re about to find out who amongst the Top 9 will be eliminated from American Idol tonight. Here we go!

Video clips of last night’s performances by the Top 9 are shown, plus clips of comments and criticism from the Idol judges. Ryan says the Top 9 will become the Top 8, unless the judges choose to use the save vote. (Don’t hold your breath) Ryan says we’re in for some “shocking results tonight”, ruh roh! The Idol Gives Back special program starts in two weeks; more info can be found at idolgivesback.org. Special guest performances tonight include Rihanna, Jason Derulo and David Archuleta.

The Top 9 Group Performance is a Lennon/McCartney medley. Lip-synched of course, but ya gotta love Lennon and McCartney songs regardless.

Ford Commercial to the song “Will it go round in circles”. The votes are in.

Ryan has Siobhan stand and has her stand in the center of the stage. Crystal stands and she is asked to join Siobhan. Katie stands and is asked to join Crystal and Siobhan. Nerves!!!

Crystal is safe! Whew!

Siobhan and Katie are both safe!!! All the ladies are safe!

The Bottom 3 tonight are all guys! OMG!!

Adam Lambert mentors the Top 8 next week. Jason Derulo (signed by Kara) sings “In My Head” and is attempting his best imitation of Michael Jackson’s moves. Um no. Michael Jackson wannabe. Twitter peeps don’t like the performance, but Simon says “that was great”. The song sounds good but I’m definitely not liking the Jackson imitation-attempts.

David Archuleta sings John Lennon’s “Imagine” and is playing piano. David is sounding really good tonight. Good job! What’s up with that haircut David? David’s been writing, recording and says his single should be coming out soon.

Ryan says they’re going to form two groups in the center of the stage. Drum Roll….

Lee is asked to stand and is asked to go stand at the far side of the stage.

Michael Lynche stands and asked to stand near/behind Ryan (not by Lee).

Casey James stands and is sent to stand by Lee on the far side of the stage.

Aaron stands and is sent to stand next to Mike, behind Ryan. Ruh Roh!!!

Tim stands and is sent to stand by Lee and Casey.

Andrew joins Michael and Aaron.

One group is safe and the other is the Bottom 3!!! Remember, “shocking results tonight”.

Andrew Garcia is safe!

Michael Lynch (Big Mike) is voted off and has to sing for his life, hoping the judges use the save on him! Shocking Results Tonight is right! Wow!

MICHAEL IS SAVED! THE JUDGES USE THE SAVE ON MICHAEL LYNCH AND HE’S BACK NEXT WEEK!!!!!!

Your American Idol Top 10 is about to become the Idol Top 9, after last night’s top ten R&B Soul songs performances. Tonight we find out who got kicked off and is sent home. We’re here LIVE broadcasting the Idol results show, so keep watching this space to find out who got voted off American Idol! Last night’s performances had some good surprises, good vocals, but nothing spectacular. Predictions of who will be voted off Idol tonight vary – some say it’s time for Tim to go home. Ya think? Others feel Didi will be voted off, while some believe Andrew Garcia has overstayed his welcome. We’re about to find out!

This is American Idol! Video of “Clash of the Titans” is being played as clips of last night’s performances and judges criticisms are shown. Ryan Seacrest takes the stage. The votes are in and someone is in danger of elimination tonight, says Ryan, unless the judges use the Save. The judges and Top 10 are introduced.

Ruben Studdard (the velvet teddy bear) takes the Idol stage to sing. Ruben has lost weight! He’s a “vegan” and working out. Ruben and Clay Aiken are going on tour together soon.

Ford commercial to “Kung Fu Fighting” with the top ten making karate moves is played. Silly stuff. Ryan teases Mike Lynche about the ponytail under his ball cap. Ryan chats with Crystal and Andrew about their performance last night. Ryan and Andrew’s mom (in the audience) talk and “mom” says Andrew needs to just “be himself, cuz momma raised him right”.

Justin Bieber is in the audience, chats momentarily with Ryan. Speculation that Justin is there to tape his upcoming performance after the results show is over perhaps?

Usher is up next to perform. Twitter peeps say this Usher/will.i.am song “sucks”. Enough with the crotch grabs already.

Didi Benami is asked to stand – Didi is in the Bottom 3 too! Both Didi and Katie in the bottom three so far.

Michael Lynche stands – He’s Safe.

American Idol May 6, 2009 is here! We’re LIVE for tonight’s American Idol Top 4 Rock theme elimination vote. American Idol starts tonight at 9 P.M. EST, when we find out Who Got Voted Off American Idol tonight!

THIS IS AMERICAN IDOL!!! Over 64 million votes were registered for last night’s ROCK performances. WOW! Ryan introduces the Idol judges. “No Doubt is here” and Daughtry performs, as does Paula Abdul.

Next is the Ford Video Performance of Move Along. VIDEO

Here comes SLASH with the Top 4 Finalists singing “Schools Out” by Alice Cooper. They’re ROCKIN’ tonight! Yeah baby! Slash sure plays a mean guitar, and the Top 4 are doing a great job, with Adam Lambert hitting the high notes with spectacular precision. VIDEO

Ryan speaks with Slash briefly about an upcoming album but gets no details, and now we’re at a commercial. The American Idol LIVE summer tour tickets go on sale this Saturday, says Ryan.

Ryan asks the Top 4 “what’s the vibe” on Wednesday nights? Kris Allen says it’s surreal to sing before millions of people, but Simon Cowell tells Kris “we don’t want humble anymore” but that Kris should feel like he deserves to be on American Idol. Adam Lambert says he’s been having a blast, and loved his outfit last night. Danny Gokey says he was laughing the whole night after watching the playback video, and referred to the ending of his Dream On song as a “horror scream”. Yeah it was! Allison says she felt the need to speak up for herself about her song choice for last night when Simon criticized her. VIDEO

Paula Abdul is up singing (lip-synching) I’m Just Here For The Music. Paula’s performance was pre-taped last night, as was No Doubt’s performance. The only LIVE performance tonight is by Chris Daughtry. Paula is wearing a short, green and black outfit, moving around the stage with her backup dancers during her performance. The song is uptempo/techno sounding and actually sounds pretty good, but I may have to listen to it a few times to get hooked on it enough to download it. VIDEO

Paula Abdul did a quick clothes change and Ryan asks Paula “Why now” about why perform her song on American Idol. She says Idol is the greatest place to perform her new single.

No Doubt is on stage singing I’m Just A Girl. No Doubt is actually doing push-ups on the stage while singing. Umm, why? No Doubt (Gwen Stafani) is a very popular performer, but I don’t get the fascination, sorry. VIDEO

The Results Are In! Video clips of previous hometown visits are shown, since hometown visits for the Top 4 are on the line tonight. The Top 4 Finalists take the stage, and the lights are dimmed. Here we go. VIDEO

Ryan reminds each of the finalists of the judges comments about their performances last night. “The first person in the Top 3 and headed home for a parade is KRIS ALLEN!!! Wow!!! Kris Allen is SAFE!!! Commercial break again. Twitter is going wild!!!

Love me some Daughtry… Definitely have to dig up the Lyrics to No Surprise right after American Idol ends tonight. The song and performance is great! Chris Daughtry tells Ryan Seacrest that his elimination from American Idol felt like the “world was coming to an end, but I got over it 30 seconds later”. No kidding – Chris Daughtry ROCKS!!! Commercial again.

Who Got Voted Off American Idol?? The second person who is in the Top 3 (in random order) and headed to their hometown is ADAM LAMBERT!!!! Adam Lambert is SAFE!!!

Danny Gokey is SAFE and Allison Iraheta got voted off American Idol! Definitely didn’t see that one coming! Predictions had Danny Gokey or Kris Allen going home tonight! Wow. Shocker!!! MAJOR UPSET! Just 17 years old, Allison Iraheta once again rocks out to Janis Joplin’s Cry Baby. Allison Iraheta fans have been desperately wanting to hear Allison sing Piece Of My Heart by Janis Joplin, but it’s not going to happen on American Idol. VIDEO

The Top 3 American Idol Theme Next Week – Top 3 Finalists (Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and Danny Gokey) take on Judges Choice and their Personal Pick. TWO Songs for each next week. Hometown visits happen on Friday next week, and by then we’ll know the Judges Choices.

Last night’s American Idol 4/21/09 Disco themed performances had some good stuff and not so good stuff. “Who got voted off American Idol” predictions have Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai and Matt Giraud being in the Bottom 3 during tonight’s Idol Results show. TWO of the Top 7 American Idol Finalists are going home tonight, not just one.

Who will be voted off tonight predictions have been quite sketchy and unreliable, especially if you’ve seen recent Idol predictions from Dial Idol. There is also a ridiculous frenzy of “Vote For The Worst” nonsense that is supposedly meant to keep American Idol interesting, but Idol fans aren’t amused by those morons one bit.

Paula Abdul choreographed tonight’s American Idol group performance, and we’ll post video so you can watch American Idol’s results show online and watch who got voted off. Past American Idol Contestant David Archuleta performs tonight singing; Harry Wayne Casey from KC and the Sunshine Band perform; Thelma Houston and Freda Payne perform a medley of their hits. Are you ready?! “THIS IS AMERICAN IDOL!”

45 Million Votes for Disco Week! Wow! Video clip of the Idol Group Performance preparations with choreographer Paula Abdul are shown. Paula Abdul introduces the American Idol Top 7 Group Performance song “Shake Your Body Down To The Ground” by Michael Jackson. Kris Allen dancing is just too funny, but the group dance routine (lip-synched of course) was fun and entertaining. Paula Abdul is presented a large, beautiful bouquet of flowers for her hard work teaching the Top 7 to dance. Good job Top 7!

Lil Rounds is then called to stand next to Idol host Ryan Seacrest, and is the first of the two to be voted off American Idol tonight. Lil sings the song she sang last night “I’m Every Woman” and is given a standing ovation. Randy Cowell tells Lil “this is just the beginning baby, just the beginning”. Simon Cowell says Lil is a great singer and is going to miss her family screaming in the audience. Kara and Paula also comment that Lil has a singing career ahead of her.

Disco icon Freda Payne is singing “Band of Gold“. This one is definitely LIVE (singing out of key….OUCH) and Freda really needed a slip under that virtually see-through dress. Yikes! Thelma Houston takes the Idol stage singing “Don’t Leave Me This Way“. KC and The Sunshine Band Harry Wayne Casey is (of course) singing “Get Down Tonight“. After watching these performances, it gives new meaning to PRE-TAPED (and edited) performances. That was pretty painful to watch.

Anoop Desai is told he’s in the Bottom 3 and has to wait to find out if he’s been voted off American Idol. Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud are told to stand together. Matt is safe and Allison Iraheta is told she’s in the Bottom 3 and takes a seat next to Anoop Desai. Wow! Allison in the Bottom 3?! She’s awesome!!!

David Archuleta takes the stage singing “Touch My Hand“. Very nice performance David! I will definitely download David Archuleta’s performance and get the lyrics to sing along (NOT!).

David Archuleta encourages Anoop Desai and Allison Iraheta that regardless of who is voted off tonight, there are lots of other opportunities that come for Idol contestants that don’t make it all the way to the finale.

Who Got Voted Off American Idol with Lil Rounds?

Anoop Desai got voted off and is eliminated from American Idol and Allison Iraheta is safe. Anoop now has to go through the torture of singing his final song on American Idol, “Dim All The Lights”.

This is American Idol 4/15/09! We’re LIVE with the American Idol Top 7 Results Show to see Who got voted off American Idol tonight?! Last night on American Idol the Top 7 Finalists sang songs of the cinema, and if the “Dial Idol” predictions are correct of who will be voted off American Idol, there could be a major upset on tonight’s results show! Miley Cyrus (pre-taped) is scheduled to perform her new song “Climb” tonight, and GRAMMY award winner Jennifer Hudson (American Idol Season 3 Finalist) will be performing “If This Isn’t Love” on the American Idol Results Show tonight!

The Results Are In!!! Will the Idol judges use their veto “save” vote tonight, and save the Idol contestant with the lowest number of votes from elimination?!

American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, introduces the Top 7 to the stage. “Will your favorite be eliminated tonight”? says Ryan. All four judges are introduced as usual.

Next is the American Idol Ford Video performance, showing the Top 7 on magazine covers singing “Freeze Frame“.

The Top 7 Idol Finalists are singing the group performance song “Maniac“. Sounding really good! Danny Gokey has the glasses back on tonight, and each of the finalists are doing a great job singing Maniac! Hitting the high notes perfectly and keeping up a great rhythm throughout the group performance. Great job!

Quentin Tarrantino was last night’s ‘mentor’ for the Top 7, and Ryan talks to the finalists about that and shows video of when the finalists went to the Movie Premiere of “17 Again”, coming out this Friday. It’s an interesting video clip, but seems to be taking up too much time tonight. Let’s get to the results already! Zac Efron is in the audience too.

Jennifer Hudson takes the stage singing “If This Isn’t Love” and OH MY GOD Jennifer Hudson is an amazing singer! What a beautiful song, and what vocal pipes Jennifer has on her! Great job Jennifer!

I am soooo going to download If This Isn’t Love!!! Great job Jennifer! Amazing! Recently engaged to get married, Ryan Seacrest jokingly tries to get Jennifer to say the wedding date of her upcoming nuptials, but of course Jennifer isn’t going to do that for privacy reasons.

Bottom Three American Idol Performers:

Anoop Desai – Nooo! He did a good job last night!
Lil Rounds – Predictable for sure!
Matt Giraud – Sad but predictable

Miley Cyrus is singing her new song “Climb” in a pre-taped Idol performance. Miley Cyrus is definitely coming into her own as she gets older and develops stronger vocals. She sounds really good. I’m not liking her hairstyle tonight at all…, her hair is hanging in her eyes and looking very messy! What’s up with the hair Miley?! All in all, Miley’s performance was spectacular, minus the crazy wild hair.

So, who got voted off American Idol tonight? ….. With over 36 million votes……Matt Giraud had the lowest number of votes and was voted off from American Idol Season 8 tonight. Will the Judges use their veto SAVE vote to save Matt? OH MY GOD! Matt is having to endure that horrible feeling of singing “To Really Love a Woman” one more time in hopes of being saved tonight. I hate this part! It’s like begging for your life!

Simon Cowell says Matt wasn’t as good tonight as he was last night.Â Whooohooooo! Matt Giraud was SAVED BY THE JUDGES TONIGHT ON AMERICAN IDOL! Wow!!! NO ONE GOES HOME TONIGHT!!!!

Simon Cowell says next week TWO CONTESTANTS WILL BE VOTED OFF!!! Oh NOOO!

Megan Joy Won’t Take Back Simon Cowell Insult

Former American Idol contestant, Megan Joy, will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday’s April 13 Ellen show and says she “wouldn’t take back” her insult comment to Idol judge Simon Cowell. In the pre-taped episode on Ellen, Megan Joy says she “doesn’t care” that Simon didn’t like her song or her performance and has no regrets.

Things got pretty heated between Megan Joy and Simon Cowell following Megan’s performance of Bob Marley’s “Turn The Lights Down Low”, with Simon Cowell calling her performance “indulgent, boring and monotonous”. Ouch! That had to hurt! On Wednesday’s American Idol Top Downloads Results Show, Ryan Seacrest asked Megan what she thought of Simon’s comments, Megan said, “I love you Simon, but I really don’t care”.

Widely viewed as an insult, US Magazine reports that Megan Joy had no idea that her comment would be upsetting to Simon. “I really had no idea that it was going to upset him, but I meant it and I wouldn’t take it back,” says 23-year-old Megan.

After being voted off American Idol on Wednesday’s Results Show, it was clear that the Idol judges were not going to use their one and only save on Megan Joy. Not a chance in a million. Simon snapped, “With the greatest respect, when you said you didn’t care [about my comments], neither do we. We’re not going to pretend to contemplate saving you. This your swan song. That’s it.”

Given Megan’s disrespectful and insulting comment, Megan literally blew her chances of being saved and it came as no surprise that the judges weren’t going to save Megan for another round of American Idol performances. Had Megan not spoken those words to Simon, she may have been saved. What Megan’s motivation was in saying those fateful words to Simon, that ultimately sealed her fate on the show, may have been her own way of dealing with the hurt she must have been feeling going into the results show.

On Monday’s show, Ellen DeGeneres asks Megan if her odd, bird-like “caw caw” flapping arms moment was her way of mocking the show. Megan replied, “No, I just woke-up feeling like it was my time to go, and I just said to myself: ‘You know what, if I go, I’m going to go out with a bang and enjoy it,’” she says. “So I just tried to have a good attitude.”

Having a “good attitude” while suspecting it’s your time to go home is one thing, but one can only wonder if her snappy retort to Simon Cowell was the best thing to do at the very moment the Idol judges were deciding whether to save her from elimination. Nevertheless, Megan Joy tells Ellen DeGeneres that she’s “absolutely” glad she did the show. “I just thought, never in a million years would I make it,” she says. “It wasn’t that I don’t adore the show and watch, I was just like, ‘I’m never going to make it.’”

Megan Joy has been making the talk show rounds since being voted off American Idol, appearing on “Live with Regis and Kelly” and “Good Day Utah”, and tomorrow’s Ellen DeGeneres show. Check your local listings in order to watch Megan Joy on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Who got voted off American Idol 4-1-09? After last night’s American Idol Top Downloads night of Idol performances, American Idol fans are anxious to know who got voted off tonight on American Idol? We’re LIVE blogging the results show as it happens, bringing Idol fans the breakdown of everything that happened during the American Idol results show. The Idol judges weren’t too impressed with several of last night’s Idol performances, and we couldn’t agree more with their reviews and criticisms of song choice and outfits. Remember Randy Jackson’s reaction to Allison Iraheta’s outfit saying, “What are you wearing?!” Hopefully you voted for your favorite American Idol after last night’s show ended, and tonight’s results will be very interesting. Idol predictions all over the net say that Megan Joy will be voted off tonight, but after watching Scott MacIntyre perform his best attempt at “Just The Way You Are”, both Megan and Scott are predicted to be in the Bottom 3 tonight. Will the judges use their save “veto vote” tonight for the Idol contestant with the lowest number of votes? Who got voted eliminated from American Idol tonight?

Ryan Seacrest said “over 36 million votes” came in after last night’s Idol performances by the Top 9. Randy Jackson says the Idol contestants picked the wrong songs and that maybe the genre of Top Downloads was too big. Adam Lambert gets special mention by Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul. Asked who he thinks should be worried of being voted off, Simon Cowell says Megan, Anoop and Scott were the three on his list.

The Top 9 Finalists contestants performed Journey’s hit song “Don’t Stop Believin” as a group performance, and it sounded pretty darn good! As I expected, Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey hit the high notes with spectacular precision!

The Top 9 Ford Video was shown and a pre-taped video of the “typical Idol week” with photo shoots, rehearsals and Idol Mania fans going wild for their favorite Idol contestants.

The Results are in! Who is safe? Who are in the bottom 3?

Past American Idol winner, David Cook, takes the stage to sing “Come Back To Me“. I am definitely going to download David Cook’s song as soon as American Idol is over! That performance was HOT and the audience loved it too! David Cook said his tour is being extended and I sure hope he’s coming to our town! David Cook was then presented with a plaque signifying his self-titled David Cook album going Platinum! Congratulations to David on his accomplishments thus far and those yet to come! Lady GaGa takes the stage to sing “Poker Face“. I must admit to not being very familiar with Lady Gaga’s music, but she can definitely play that piano. The American Idol audience and judges loved Lady GaGa’s performance, giving her a standing ovation. Lady GaGa fans can download “Poker Face” on iTunes. American Idol Host, Ryan Seacrest, asked Simon Cowell which of the Bottom 3 contestants were worth saving with a veto vote and Simon said “1″. Anoop Desai is safe and sent back to sit with the other Idol contestants. Ryan Seacrest asked Simon if there was a chance of saving Megan Joy with a veto vote and Simon “not a chance”. Ouch! That was pretty cut-throat Simon!
