american-idol-top-10-idol-fan-siteWho got voted off American Idol 4-1-09? After last night’s American Idol Top Downloads night of Idol performances, American Idol fans are anxious to know who got voted off tonight on American Idol? We’re LIVE blogging the results show as it happens, bringing Idol fans the breakdown of everything that happened during the American Idol results show. The Idol judges weren’t too impressed with several of last night’s Idol performances, and we couldn’t agree more with their reviews and criticisms of song choice and outfits. Remember Randy Jackson’s reaction to Allison Iraheta’s outfit saying, “What are you wearing?!” Hopefully you voted for your favorite American Idol after last night’s show ended, and tonight’s results will be very interesting. Idol predictions all over the net say that Megan Joy will be voted off tonight, but after watching Scott MacIntyre perform his best attempt at “Just The Way You Are”, both Megan and Scott are predicted to be in the Bottom 3 tonight. Will the judges use their save “veto vote” tonight for the Idol contestant with the lowest number of votes? Who got voted eliminated from American Idol tonight?

Ryan Seacrest said “over 36 million votes” came in after last night’s Idol performances by the Top 9. Randy Jackson says the Idol contestants picked the wrong songs and that maybe the genre of Top Downloads was too big. Adam Lambert gets special mention by Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul. Asked who he thinks should be worried of being voted off, Simon Cowell says Megan, Anoop and Scott were the three on his list.

The Top 9 Finalists contestants performed Journey’s hit song “Don’t Stop Believin” as a group performance, and it sounded pretty darn good! As I expected, Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey hit the high notes with spectacular precision!

Who got voted off on American Idol’s results show on 3-26-09? Who was eliminated and who is safe on American Idol? Who were in the Bottom 3? Motown greats Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy appeared as mentors to the Top 10 finalists, giving Idol contestants encouragement and constructive criticism about their chosen Motown songs.

In celebration of Hittsville USA, the Top 10 finalists sang a Motown songs medley of “Set Me Free”, “You’re All I Need” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, for Idol viewers. It sounded pretty good, don’t ya think?

After the “Pocketful of Sunshine” car video was shown, Ruben Studdard hit the Idol stage to perform his hit song “Together”. I’ve haven’t followed Ruben close enough since he was a past American Idol contestant, but he sounded great!

Joss Stone and Smokey Robinson sang “You’re The One For Me” together, and my interest in Joss Stone and Smokey Robinson’s music is even greater now. Didn’t they sound great? The audience and judges sure enjoyed it!
