Happy Birthday Simon Cowell! Simon Cowell’s 50th birthday party was a lavish, extravagant party in celebration of Simon turning 50 years old on Wedneday, October 7th 2009. The American Idol music mogul got the birthday party started early on Saturday, October 3rd, inviting 400 guests to the party event held at billionaire Sir Philip Green’s mansion in Hertfordshire, England.

Birthday boy spared no expense entertaining family, friends and A-list celebrities including Sir Elton John, Kevin Spacey, Naomi Campbell, singers Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue and chef Gordon Ramsay, with an estimated cost said to be a whopping 1.5 million dollars, including 75,000 for a fleet of limousines to bring birthday guests to the event. Speaking about the party’s hefty price tag, the birthday boy said, “I always pick up my own tab whether it’s for four people or 400.”

Simon Cowell treated party guests to vintage champagne and performances by boyband Westlife, X Factor winners Lewis and Alexandra Burke, as well as a Happy Birthday rendition from supermodel Kate Moss. Several of Simon’s ex-girlfriends were also in attendance, including Terri Seymour, Sinitta and Jackie St Clair.

Waiters for the private birthday party wore masks of Simon’s face, with large photo images of Cowell plastered all over the party. Party guests dined on a Simon-themed meal fit for the American Idol judge, including ‘Simon’s Chicken Soup’, boasting pasta shapes in the music mogul’s name.

Simon’s Rolls Royce Phantom was damaged during preparations for the birthday party, when a delivery man bringing 960 bottles of Sapporo lager dropped the first case, sending shattered glass all over Simon’s prized possession. See photos here.

Birthday wishes from David and Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Aniston were pre-recorded and played on giant screens at the birthday party. Simon Cowell’s birthday party guest list included Idol host Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Olivia Newton-John, Jennifer Lopez, Leona Lewis, David Hasselhoff, Katie Price, Paula Abdul, Piers Morgan, Kelly Brook, Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts, The X Factor winner Shayne Ward, and Simon’s 82-year-old mum Julie. Susan Boyle, who shot to fame on Simon’s reality-tv show Britain’s Got Talent, reportedly skipped the party bash because she was too busy with her family in Scotland.

UPDATE: Watch our LIVE American Idol Finale Adam Lambert vs Kris Allen Finale Showdown! The American Idol Finale on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 will be a real nail-biter, full of suspense to find out who will be the winner of American Idol 2009 Season 8. On Tuesday, May 19, 2009, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen will do their best to win your votes and become the crowned king of Season 8 on American Idol. Who will win American Idol Season 8 is anyone’s guess, but whoever wins the American Idol crown will have won due to having more votes than the other.

The official list of songs (spoilers) to be sung by Adam Lambert and Kris Allen haven’t been released, and typical American Idol Spoilers are often wrong until right after the American Idol Rehearsals are held and confirmed.

We do know that the American Idol Season 8 Finale will have three songs performed by the Top 2 Finalists, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Kris Allen won the coin toss and chose to have Adam Lambert sing first during the final show, instead of the typical “pimp spot” Adam’s been used to. Kris Allen will sing last and close the show on Tuesday night.

UPDATE 1: Adam Lambert is going to sing Change Is Gonna Come and Adam’s Personal Song Choice is Mad World “with a little twist”. Kris Allen is seriously considering “Falling Slowly” (or “Heartless”, but leaning more towards Falling Slowly). But then again, maybe not! Newest spoiler rumors are that Kris Allen was NOT rehearsing either Falling Slowly nor Heartless! See what I mean about “spoilers”?

UPDATE 2: Kris Allen will sing “What’s Goin On” (by Marvin Gaye) “Ain’t No Sunshine” tonight on American Idol!

UPDATE 3: Steve Martin will be breaking out his banjo to perform a tune from his album of banjo music, according to ET Online. OMG!

UPDATE 4: ROD STEWART will be performing on tomorrow night’s American Idol Finale!!!

• Round 1 – The Contestant’s Favorite – Favorite song of the season, according to Idol host Ryan Seacrest
• Round 2 – Simon Fuller’s Pick – Previously chosen by Clive Davis last year
• Round 3 – The Winner’s Single Coronation Song – Only one winner/coronation song called “No Boundaries” will be performed this year, apparently co-written by Idol Judge Kara DioGuardi

Next week’s finale at Nokia Theatre will include a lineup of talent including performances by past American Idol winners Carrie Underwood (Season 4) and David Cook (Season 7). Lionel Richie, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban are also among the artists scheduled to perform on Wednesday’s Finale before either Kris Allen or Adam Lambert is crowned the Season 8 winner.

Idol producers are trying to get as many Idol winners back for the Finale as humanly possible. Keith Urban will perform a duet with Kris Allen – Cyndi Lauper performs a duet with Allison Iraheta. Rumors across the net claim that Idol producers are trying to get David Bowie to sing a duet with Adam Lambert. Danny Gokey will duet with Lionel Richie and Santana will perform with all of the Idol contestants in attendance. Rumors are that Britney Spears will perform on American Idol but Perez Hilton says No she won’t.

UPDATE: Bad news: The David Bowie/Adam Lambert duet fell through. Darn it! That would have been very cool! Theres like a 5% chance it will happen so they are still working on someone to perform with Adam at the finale.

THIS IS AMERICAN IDOL!!! “Heroes of their hometown” says Ryan Seacrest. This is the 300th American Idol episode. Tonight’s “Three Amigos” are about to take the Idol stage. Ryan is introducing the judges. Ryan introduces the Top 3 American Idol Finalists, asking viewers “Who will you vote for to be in the Finale?”

First up is Danny Gokey singing “Dance Little Sister” by Terrance Trent D’Arby. Paula Abdul is up on her feet dancing to Danny’s performance. Good job Danny! Uptempo, singing on key (for a change), no screaming. Randy Jackson says “that was dope for me dude”. Kara DioGuardi didn’t like the dancing “too gyrating” – “forgettable performance”. Paula loved Danny’s performance, doing a “fantastic job”. Simon Cowell says the dancing “was a bit desperate”, “vocally very good”, but didn’t care much for the sax solo and “wrong song”. Kara said it was a “competent performance”, but says “you gotta hit it out of the park” and not behind the piano, taking more chances. Paula Abdul says “there was a bum note” but says Kris deserves to be in the Top 3. Here comes Adam Lambert singing “One” by U2. (Simon Cowell says Bono agreed to allow Adam perform their song tonight). Starts off soft and mellow, very smooth….., then powerhouse vocals take over again. WOW Adam! Simon’s smiling and clapping. Randy Jackson says Adam “is in the zone” but wasn’t impressed with the song choice or performance, to which Simon says “booo”. Kara says Adam is a “strategist”, able to make performances “unbelievable”, doing his “own version” of the song. Paula jokes about sitting next to Simon “gloating over Adam’s performance”. I was very nervous Danny wouldn’t be able to pull off this song tonight, but Danny is sounding really good. Smooth, no screaming, great melody, very very good performance. Randy Jackson says “amazing song”, “you showed dude that you can really, really, really sing dawg”. Kara calls it a “stunning” performance. Paula says Danny’s changing up the “structure” of the song arrangement made for a “beautiful performance”. Simon calls it a “vocal masterclass”. Good job Danny! The Kelly Clarkson pregnant rumors just keep on coming. Online searches for “Is Kelly Clarkson pregnant?”, “Kelly Clarkson weight gain”, “Kelly Clarkson Fat”, “Kelly Clarkson weight” have once again topped the charts of the rumor mill around the internet. Jessica Simpson must be feeling quite relieved that Kelly Clarkson’s weight gain has taken the focus off of her, for now.

Grammy-winning singer Kelly Clarkson has been denying the ever-increasing rumors of being pregnant since early 2009, especially after she appeared on American Idol in March singing “My Life Would Suck Without You” from her “All I Ever Wanted” album.

Kelly Clarkson’s weight gain became quite obvious during her Idol performance, since she was wearing a form-fitting black mini-dress, knee-high black boots, black tights and a shimmery sequined shrug, and inquiring minds want to know if Kelly Clarkson is pregnant or fat.

No, Kelly Clarkson is NOT pregnant, but has put on some weight. It happens. Calling Kelly Clarkson “fat” is a bit of a stretch, in my opinion. Clarkson’s curvier figure doesn’t fit well with the media’s anorexic-skinny, Size-O obsession of what is considered to be “normal” or “average” weight. In an interview with Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, Kelly said she’s not in a relationship with anyone and intends on remaining a virgin until she gets married.

Poor Kelly. If she’s not dealing with pregnancy speculations, because of what some believe is a “baby bump”, then Clarkson is busy denying the “Kelly Clarkson lesbian” rumors. Good grief. Leave Kelly Clarkson alone.

Top 5 Group performance “It Don’t Mean a Thing” and “I Got Rhythm”. It was okay; the group performances are always pre-taped and lack the WOW factor of singing/performing LIVE.

A few Idol Top 5 Birthdays were celebrated in one weekend. Video of the Top 5 in the kitchen “making a cake” but turns into a food fight.

The kitchen was a huge mess, with the food fight supposedly being started by Danny Gokey. Danny was handed a “birthday present” which was a $6000.00 bill to clean up the mess.

Matt Giraud is asked to stand on the right side of the stage. Danny Gokey is asked to head to the left side of the stage. Allison Iraheta is asked to stand next to Danny on the left side of the stage. Kris Allen is asked to stand next to Matt Giraud. UH OH Kris! Adam Lambert is asked which of the two groups of contestants he thinks he belongs in. Adam Lambert initially takes the side of the stage with Allison and Danny, but Ryan Seacrest moves Adam Lambert into the group with Matt and Kris.

The Bottom 3!

Matt Giraud, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert!!!! Idol fans on Twitter are freaking out at the news that Adam Lambert is in the BOTTOM 3! Quite an UPSET on American Idol tonight! No one would have predicted that Adam Lambert would EVER find himself in the Bottom list!

Natalie Cole is singing “Something’s Gotta Give“. Natalie Cole’s career spans almost 4 decades. Rumor being discussed on Twitter is that Natalie Cole is “sick” and needs a kidney. She definitely looks very very thin.

Taylor Hicks is singing “Seven Mile Breakdown” from his album “The Distance”. Taylor Hicks has lost a few pounds, and his hair is cut much shorter than before.

Joining Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey in the TOP 4 is KRIS ALLEN!!!! That means Adam Lambert and Matt Giraud are the Bottom 2 tonight! WOW!

Idol “mentor” Jamie Foxx takes the stage singing the #1 song in America, “Blame It On The Alcohol“. THAT’S the #1 song in America right now? WHY? Yawn….

Ryan Seacrest is now asking Jamie about working with the Idol contestants and says the Top 5 are all “artists” and will have a great career regardless of who wins American Idol Season 8.

American Idol 4/21/09 is here finally! The American Idol Top 7 sing DISCO tonight, and we’re here LIVE to watch the Idol performances and bring you the judges comments and VIDEO of the performances. It’s DISCO night on American Idol! “This is American Idol!” Ryan Seacrest reminds us that on tomorrow night’s Results show, TWO of the Idol TOP 7 will be voted off American Idol, so remember to VOTE!

Lil Rounds is first up singing “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan. Lil Rounds is doing a pretty good job with her performance tonight, but let’s see what the judges have to say. Randy Jackson says “it sounded so wild” and “didn’t really show us what kind of vocal control you can have”. Kara DioGuardi said “I’m not sure it was worth the wait” and Lil “still didn’t tell me who you are as an artist”. Paula Abdul says Lil was “hot tonight” but “didn’t make the boiling point”. Simon Cowell says he’s glad Lil had fun but thinks this week is Lil’s “final shot”. Wow, all four Idol judges weren’t at all pleased with Lil Rounds performance. I didn’t think it was THAT bad! Kris Allen is next to perform and he’s singing “She Works Hard For The Money” by Donna Summer. Kris is playing the guitar, and Kris’ performance is quite a bit slower and more mellow than the version Donna Summer did during the Disco days. Kris definitely changed things up and made the song his own, but I don’t know if I like this one personally, but that’s only because I love me some Donna Summer. Kara DioGuardi says Kris “took a big risk but it paid of big time”. Paula Abdul says the performance had a “classy” style to it, also commenting on Kris’ outfit. Simon Cowell said “that was not karaoke”, “was original and a fantastic performance”. Randy Jackson says Kris is “ready for the big time”. Danny Gokiey takes the Idol stage singing “September” by Earth, Wind and Fire. Paula Abdul is dancing at her seat, and I can see why.

Danny is sounding pretty darn good tonight! Overall, I liked Danny’s performance. Randy Jackson says he was a bit worried but that Danny “really turned this to work it out for you”. Kara DioGuardi says Danny is an “incredible vocalist” and his “pitch is always on”. Paula Abdul says Danny “has one of the sexiest voices” and women of all ages will love Danny Gokey. Allison Iraheta is singing “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer. Allison is really rockin’ her performance tonight! Wow Allison! I am soooo going to download Allison’s performance!!! Kara DioGuardi also didn’t like the arrangement, but agrees with Randy that her vocals were excellent. Adam Lambert is next up, singing “If I Can’t Have You” by the Bee Gees. Adam Lambert is simply spectacular tonight in my opinion, but the haters will say Adam was screaming and screeching. Whatever. Next up is Matt Giraud singing “Staying Alive” by the Bee Gees. I really like Matt Giraud and I enjoy listening to Matt sing, but I don’t care much when he attempts to sing too high for his vocal range ability, as he does in this performance. Randy Jackson didn’t like the song choice, didn’t like the arrangement but says “you can really sing dude”. Kara says the “vocals were pretty good”, a good/solid performance. Paula Abdul says after tonight’s performance, Matt “is staying”. Simon Cowell says the performance came across as “desperate”, with no originality and “not a huge fan of that one”. Uh-Oh Matt?! Last to sing tonight is Anoop Desai singing “Dim All The Lights” by Donna Summer. Randy Jackson says that Anoop can sing too “nice, baby nice”. This is American Idol 4/15/09! We’re LIVE with the American Idol Top 7 Results Show to see Who got voted off American Idol tonight?! Last night on American Idol the Top 7 Finalists sang songs of the cinema, and if the “Dial Idol” predictions are correct of who will be voted off American Idol, there could be a major upset on tonight’s results show! Miley Cyrus (pre-taped) is scheduled to perform her new song “Climb” tonight, and GRAMMY award winner Jennifer Hudson (American Idol Season 3 Finalist) will be performing “If This Isn’t Love” on the American Idol Results Show tonight!

The Results Are In!!! Will the Idol judges use their veto “save” vote tonight, and save the Idol contestant with the lowest number of votes from elimination?!

American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, introduces the Top 7 to the stage. “Will your favorite be eliminated tonight”? says Ryan. All four judges are introduced as usual.

Next is the American Idol Ford Video performance, showing the Top 7 on magazine covers singing “Freeze Frame“.

The Top 7 Idol Finalists are singing the group performance song “Maniac“. Sounding really good! Danny Gokey has the glasses back on tonight, and each of the finalists are doing a great job singing Maniac! Hitting the high notes perfectly and keeping up a great rhythm throughout the group performance. Great job!

Quentin Tarrantino was last night’s ‘mentor’ for the Top 7, and Ryan talks to the finalists about that and shows video of when the finalists went to the Movie Premiere of “17 Again”, coming out this Friday. It’s an interesting video clip, but seems to be taking up too much time tonight. Let’s get to the results already! Zac Efron is in the audience too.

Jennifer Hudson takes the stage singing “If This Isn’t Love” and OH MY GOD Jennifer Hudson is an amazing singer! What a beautiful song, and what vocal pipes Jennifer has on her! Great job Jennifer!

I am soooo going to download If This Isn’t Love!!! Great job Jennifer! Amazing! Recently engaged to get married, Ryan Seacrest jokingly tries to get Jennifer to say the wedding date of her upcoming nuptials, but of course Jennifer isn’t going to do that for privacy reasons.

Miley Cyrus is singing her new song “Climb” in a pre-taped Idol performance. Miley Cyrus is definitely coming into her own as she gets older and develops stronger vocals. She sounds really good. I’m not liking her hairstyle tonight at all…, her hair is hanging in her eyes and looking very messy! What’s up with the hair Miley?! All in all, Miley’s performance was spectacular, minus the crazy wild hair.

So, who got voted off American Idol tonight? ….. With over 36 million votes……Matt Giraud had the lowest number of votes and was voted off from American Idol Season 8 tonight. Will the Judges use their veto SAVE vote to save Matt? OH MY GOD! Matt is having to endure that horrible feeling of singing “To Really Love a Woman” one more time in hopes of being saved tonight. I hate this part! It’s like begging for your life!

Simon Cowell says Matt wasn’t as good tonight as he was last night.  Whooohooooo! Matt Giraud was SAVED BY THE JUDGES TONIGHT ON AMERICAN IDOL! Wow!!! NO ONE GOES HOME TONIGHT!!!!

American Idol 4/14/09 has finally arrived! Your American Idol Top 7 Theme tonight is Idols At The Movies/Songs of The Cinema, and we’re LIVE with our review/recap of each American Idol performance and judges comments. Who will be voted off American Idol tomorrow night during the 4/15/09 American Idol Results Show? We’re about to find out!

Quentin Tarrantino is tonight’s American Idol mentor, which should make tonight’s Top 7 performances very interesting. “This is American Idol”, says Idol host Ryan Seacrest. Quentin Tarrantino was an Idol judge during Season 3, and he holds no punches in his reviews of Idol performances.

Due to the complaints American Idol and FOX received because Idol ran late last week, only two Idol judges will speak to comment and critique each of the American Idol performances tonight. That should (hopefully) keep things rolling!

First to sing is Allison Iraheta singing “Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith. Allison is “one talented young lady”, and that’s exactly what Paula Abdul says too. Simon Cowell says Allison is “the girls only hope in this competition” and “we may see Allison all the way to end of the competition”. Allison should be very proud of her accomplishments thus far, and I can’t help but agree that Allison deserves to be in the Top 3 at this point in the competition, unless Allison really screws up with song choices or performances in coming weeks. Next to sing Anoop Desai singing “Everything I Do“, by Bryan Adams. Wow! Anoop is doing a great job with “Everything I Do”! Smooth and beautiful! This has got to be one of Anoop’s BEST performances so far! Randy Jackson says he was initially worried about Anoop’s song choice but said “it was in tune, you did a really good job man!” Kara DioGuardi “it was probably one his best performances” and that Anoop “did a good job”. Anoop should also be very proud of his performance tonight, and I would definitely download his performance. It’s goody. To vote for Anoop: 1-866-Idols-02 or Text 5702

Adam Lambert is singing “Born to Be Wild” by Steppenwolf. The way Adam Lambert hits those high notes is amazing! Paula Abdul is on her feet, and the audience is screaming! Paula said “you dare to dance in the path of greatness”. Wow! Simon jokingly says Adam needs to “learn to express himself a little more”. Ha! Simon doesn’t think Adam’s performance “will be as popular as last week” (Mad World), but Simon “liked it”. I don’t know…, I think Adam Lambert fans will love this performance tonight and will download it immediately after the show! To vote for Adam: 1-866-Idols-03 or Text 5703

Matt Giraud is singing “To Really Love a Woman” by Bryan Adams. Matt’s at the piano tonight, and it started out alright but it became quite pitchy. Randy Jackson agrees saying “not one of your best performances man”. Kara DioGuardi wasn’t very impressed with Matt’s performance either. Matt tries real hard and that’s obvious in all of his performances, but tonight’s performance was definitely not his best. I really like Matt Giraud and I believe he has a singing career coming his way, but tonight was not his best. To vote for Matt: 1-866-Idols-04 or Text 5704

Danny Gokey is up next to sing “Endless Love” by Diana Ross. Danny Gokey is wearing contacts tonight, not the glasses! I was a bit nervous about this song choice, but halfway through the song it really started sounding good! Good for Danny! Paula feels the same way about initially being nervous about the song choice, but all in all felt that Danny did a good job. Simon Cowell said he was “disappointed” with the performance, saying it obviously had a lot of meaning to Danny personally. To vote for Danny: 1-866-Idols-05 or Text 5705

Kris Allen is up next to sing “Falling Slowly” from the movie “Once”. Hmm, I don’t know what American Idol fans will think about this one. Slow, smooth, pitchy in places, no WOW factor. Randy Jackson says Kris was “pitchy” throughout, and didn’t like Kris’ performance at all. Kara DioGuardi definitely liked the performance, saying it was one “of the best” performances of the night. Kris Allen fans will probably like tonight’s performance, but as much as I enjoy listening and watching Kris sing, it’s time for Kris to bring on the WOW factor to stay in the competition. Last to sing tonight is Lil Rounds with “The Rose” by Bette Midler. I don’t know about this performance, and I’m afraid Lil will find herself not only in the Bottom 3 but also voted off tomorrow night. Lil put her own spin to the song and did what she could to make it her own with a R&B spin. Paula didn’t have much to say about the actual performance itself, but simply commented on how Lil has managed to stay in the competition this far. Simon wasn’t at all impressed with Lil’s performance tonight, and makes very clear that Lil’s days on the show are likely numbered. To vote for Lil: 1-866-Idols-07 or Text 5707

Former American Idol contestant, Megan Joy, will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday’s April 13 Ellen show and says she “wouldn’t take back” her insult comment to Idol judge Simon Cowell. In the pre-taped episode on Ellen, Megan Joy says she “doesn’t care” that Simon didn’t like her song or her performance and has no regrets.

Things got pretty heated between Megan Joy and Simon Cowell following Megan’s performance of Bob Marley’s “Turn The Lights Down Low”, with Simon Cowell calling her performance “indulgent, boring and monotonous”. Ouch! That had to hurt! On Wednesday’s American Idol Top Downloads Results Show, Ryan Seacrest asked Megan what she thought of Simon’s comments, Megan said, “I love you Simon, but I really don’t care”.

Widely viewed as an insult, US Magazine reports that Megan Joy had no idea that her comment would be upsetting to Simon. “I really had no idea that it was going to upset him, but I meant it and I wouldn’t take it back,” says 23-year-old Megan.

After being voted off American Idol on Wednesday’s Results Show, it was clear that the Idol judges were not going to use their one and only save on Megan Joy. Not a chance in a million. Simon snapped, “With the greatest respect, when you said you didn’t care [about my comments], neither do we. We’re not going to pretend to contemplate saving you. This your swan song. That’s it.”

Given Megan’s disrespectful and insulting comment, Megan literally blew her chances of being saved and it came as no surprise that the judges weren’t going to save Megan for another round of American Idol performances. Had Megan not spoken those words to Simon, she may have been saved. What Megan’s motivation was in saying those fateful words to Simon, that ultimately sealed her fate on the show, may have been her own way of dealing with the hurt she must have been feeling going into the results show.

On Monday’s show, Ellen DeGeneres asks Megan if her odd, bird-like “caw caw” flapping arms moment was her way of mocking the show. Megan replied, “No, I just woke-up feeling like it was my time to go, and I just said to myself: ‘You know what, if I go, I’m going to go out with a bang and enjoy it,’” she says. “So I just tried to have a good attitude.”

Having a “good attitude” while suspecting it’s your time to go home is one thing, but one can only wonder if her snappy retort to Simon Cowell was the best thing to do at the very moment the Idol judges were deciding whether to save her from elimination. Nevertheless, Megan Joy tells Ellen DeGeneres that she’s “absolutely” glad she did the show. “I just thought, never in a million years would I make it,” she says. “It wasn’t that I don’t adore the show and watch, I was just like, ‘I’m never going to make it.’”

Megan Joy has been making the talk show rounds since being voted off American Idol, appearing on “Live with Regis and Kelly” and “Good Day Utah”, and tomorrow’s Ellen DeGeneres show. Check your local listings in order to watch Megan Joy on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

4/8/09-We’re posting LIVE the American Idol Top 8 Results show, as American Idol fans find out who got voted off American Idol tonight, after last night’s Idol theme Songs From The Year You Were Born. American Idol fans…err..or should I say Adam Lambert fans, were royally pissed off when Idol was cut short and many were unable to watch Adam Lambert sing Mad World. Fortunately for Adam Lambert fans, we made sure to provide the video link so Lambert fans can watch Adam sing Tears For Fears “Mad World”, and Idol fans can watch all of the Top 8 Idol performances online as many times as they want. Tonight’s American Idol results show brings guest performances by 2006 American Idol Finalist Kellie Pickler, as she returns to the Idol stage to sing her latest single Best Days of Your Life.

Rapper Flo-rida will sing his record-breaking #1 hit single “Right Round” to promote the rapper’s new album “R.O.O.T.S”, with estimates saying Flo-rida’s album has already sold over 500,000 copies in its first week. Who gets voted off American Idol tonight? Predictions around the net indicate that Scott McIntyre is in serious trouble of elimination tonight, but Lil Rounds and Kris Allen are also predicted to be in the Bottom 3, alongside Scott. Who got voted off American Idol is what we’re about to find out! Are you ready to find out who are in the Bottom 3 and who finally (?) got voted off American Idol? Here we go! “This is American Idol”!

Randy Jackson expresses his disappointment over this week’s performances and song choices. Kara says some of the early front runners have sort of lost their edge and need to step up and choose better songs and make the songs their own. Paula Abdul agreed that some of the Idol performers haven’t done as well as previous weeks.

Wow! Frankie Avalon surprises the judges and audience to sing “Venus” from the year 1959. What a nice surprise that was! Frankie Avalon is a true music ICON! Okay, so I’m aging myself here.

The Top 8 American Idol Finalists sing their group performance Can’t Get You Out Of My Head. These group performances are really lame, and I bet we all wish American Idol would stop these lip-sync crappy performances. The group performance started out alright, but then it went downhill from there, until the very end when Adam Lambert hit a nice high note with smooth precision.

The American Idol Ford Video is shown next. All the finalists are “dressed up” and wearing crazy makeup; “very theatrical” as Adam Lambert said. Danny Gokey in a Top Hat! Ha! The Ford video isn’t my favorite part of American Idol, but the contestants at least appear to enjoy doing the videos.

Bottom Three American Idol Performers:

Flo-rida takes the Idol stage for the very first time singing his new single Right Round. Flo-rida is sure rocking this song, and the dance routines/choreography looks hot! Flo-rida comes with lots of energy and the whole performance is fabulous! Colored steamers are falling all over the stage as the Flo-rida finishes the song. What a great performance that was! “Flo” explains to Ryan Seacrest the meaning of the ‘R.O.O.T.S’ album as being “Routes Of Overcoming The Struggle”.

Kellie Pickler takes the stage singing “The Best Days Of Your Life” from her self-titled album. Was it just me or did Kellie sound a bit pitchy singing this song? I like the song and I like Kellie, but I think if she were performing on American Idol, I don’t think the judges would be too kind in the critiques. Maybe it was hard for her to sing perfectly while moving about the stage and going over to sit on Simon’s lap, but regardless of the problems I heard with Kellie’s performance, I still like Kellie Pickler.

Out of the three Idol contestants that find themselves in the Bottom 3 this week, Simon Cowell says there is really only 1 contestant the judges would even consider using their “save veto vote” for.

Scott McIntyre was voted off and eliminated from American Idol Season 8 tonight, and I don’t think most of us are surprised. Scott MacIntyre now must sing in front of the judges to see if the veto vote will be used to save him. It just seems wrong for the person with the lowest Idol votes to have to sing in hopes of being saved from elimination! Even though I haven’t been impressed with Scott’s singing (screeching) abilities, he does play a mean piano! Simon Cowell says two judges say Scott should go home and two judges say Scott should stay. What torture for Scott to stand there like that waiting to see what the verdict will be. Simon says he “likes Scott but it’s the end of the competition” on American Idol for Scott MacIntyre. Scott MacIntyre got voted off American Idol tonight.
