American Idol 3/26/09 Idol Results – Who Got Voted Off American Idol?

Who got voted off on American Idol’s results show on 3-26-09? Who was eliminated and who is safe on American Idol? Who were in the Bottom 3? American Idol fans enjoyed some amazing Idol performances and some Idol duds. Motown greats Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy appeared as mentors to the Top 10 finalists, giving Idol contestants encouragement and constructive criticism about their chosen Motown songs.

“Over 36 million votes came in, more votes than previous American Idol shows”, says Idol host Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest reminded viewers that the “veto vote” save is still in play, but will the save vote be used tonight?

In celebration of Hittsville USA, the Top 10 finalists sang a Motown songs medley of “Set Me Free”, “You’re All I Need” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, for Idol viewers. It sounded pretty good, don’t ya think?

After the “Pocketful of Sunshine” car video was shown, Ruben Studdard hit the Idol stage to perform his hit song “Together”. I’ve haven’t followed Ruben close enough since he was a past American Idol contestant, but he sounded great!

Joss Stone and Smokey Robinson sang “You’re The One For Me” together, and my interest in Joss Stone and Smokey Robinson’s music is even greater now. Didn’t they sound great? The audience and judges sure enjoyed it!

Who are the bottom 3 Idol contestants this week? Who was voted off American Idol on 3/26/09? The results are in!
