Last night’s American Idol May 12 Top 3 Judges Choices and Personal Pick performances are creating quite a stir around the internet, with American Idol fans asking Who will win American Idol? First things first; we won’t know who are the Top 2 Finalists until we find out who got kicked off American Idol tonight. Idol starts at 9 p.m. EST, and we’re here LIVE with the results show!

Past American Idol contestant and season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks, will perform her new song “Battlefield” during the results show 5/13/09. Katie Perry will perform “Waking Up In Vegas“, the newest single from her platinum debut album “One Of The Boys”.

Ben Stiller opens the show claiming Ryan Seacrest was injured in a terrible bikini wax incident. Ha! “This is the American Idol Desk!” says Ben Stiller. Ryan Seacrest descends the Idol staircase. “You saw Adam, you saw Danny and you saw Kris!”. Over 88 MILLION VOTES came in last night. Idol is having sound problems tonight, but hopefully won’t last. “Jordin Sparks is with us, Katy Perry takes the stage”.

Here comes the typical, boring, sleep-inducing Ford Video Performance “Break My Stride”. VIDEO

Alicia Keys (looking stunningly beautiful as usual) introduces “Noah” from Rwanda singing “The World’s Greatest” by R. Kelly. Alicia Keys says Text “Alive” to 90999 to donate to “Keep A Child Alive” charity. VIDEO

Ryan calls Danny Gokey to center stage. Hometown clips of Danny’s visit to Milwaukee and hometown parade are played. Danny’s emotional in the video clip during his hometown visit, tearing up and given the keys to the city. Ryan reminds Danny of the judges choice and personal pick songs from last night, and each of the judges comments about his performance, then sent to sit back down to wait. Ahhh the torture that Ryan does to us, right? VIDEO

Hometown video clips of Kris Allen in Little Rock, Arkansas are shown. Kris’ parents and very large family are obviously very proud of Kris, as is seen in the emotional video. Ryan reminds Kris of the judges choice song and personal pick, and the judges comments about his performance last night, and tells Kris to take a seat next to Danny. “We’re going to get to it soon, I promise”. Ryan Seacrest says “things are tense tonight – I’m nervous”. VIDEO

American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks is singing “Battlefield”, with Ryan Tedder on piano. Jordin looks beautiful in her black shimmery short dress, but there’s some very obvious rough notes (pitchy) right from the start of the performance. Overall, a very good performance by Jordin Sparks. VIDEO

Ryan brings Adam Lambert to center stage. Ryan and Adam laugh about the “streaker incident” in San Diego during Adam’s hometown visit. Video clips of Adam’s hometown visit are shown. VIDEO

Again, Ryan reminds Adam of the judges choice songs and Adam’s personal pick as well as the judges comment that “you deserve to be in the finals”. Adam is told to sit with Kris and Danny for the results. (Commercial)

Katie Perry is singing “Waking Up In Vegas”, her latest single from her album “One Of The Boys”. What are those backup singers wearing?! The Results Are In, after the commercial of course. Who is in the FINALE?! Who are the FINAL 2 Ryan!

After the nationwide vote, the first person competing in next weeks’ Finale is: KRIS ALLEN!!!! Kris Allen is in the TOP 2!!!!!! WOW!!!

The person competing against Kris Allen is ADAM LAMBERT!!! The FINAL TWO is Kris Allen and ADAM LAMBERT!!!!

Danny Gokey got voted off American Idol tonight! VIDEO

Simon Cowell tells Kris Allen that his second song last night made him a contender for the Finale, and that next week’s Finale will be a big “ding dong”. HUH? Simon, please speak English.
