Carrie Underwood “Play On” New Album Release Date Set For November 3

Carrie Underwood Play On

UPDATED!!! Carrie Underwood’s new album titled “Play On” is set to be released on November 3, 2009. Carrie Underwood’s new album cover is simply stunning, don’t cha think? “Play On” is being released one week before Carrie is scheduled to co-host the Country Music Association Awards with superstar Brad Paisley on November 11th.

Underwood has already sold nearly two million copies of her previous two albums, and Carrie has been working hard in the studio with Mark Bright, who produced Carnival Ride in 2007 and parts of Some Hearts.

Carrie Underwood recently went into the studio with producer Max Martin, (who you may recall from Kelly Clarkson’s My Life Would Suck Without You, Pink’s So What, Katy Perry’s I Kissed a Girl) to record a song.

Carrie Underwood also recorded a song with R&B singer Ne-Yo, but the decision of whether or not the song will appear on the Play On album or not is unclear. “We came out with an awesome song,” Carrie says. “I’m not sure if it fits within the context of the rest of the album, but there is no doubt in my mind that somebody somewhere is going to record this song.”
