Just like you, I’ve been searching the net for the “You’re The One For Me” lyrics from Smokey Robinson and Joss Stone’s appearance on American Idol Motown results show Thursday, March 26. Since the “You’re The One For Me” lyrics can’t seem to be found anywhere online quite yet, I took the time to listen to “You’re The One For Me” a hundred times or more, writing down the song lyrics as the song played.
There were two lines in the lyrics to “You’re The One For Me”, where Smokey started singing in the duet with Joss Stone, that I had trouble figuring out. I’m once again posting the “You’re The One For Me” YouTube video with the lyrics I’ve written down. UPDATE: The two questionable lyric lines have been cleared up, and the complete/correct lyrics are found below.

Very true but i learn all the lyrics of the songs first .then you know. joss has a very powerful voice and can sing any thing . i would love to hear her sing gospel. she is a very nice person after meeting her in Deal kent at a local concert. nice party and realy nice band . i,m in my awtum years but just love her natural talent. been a singer myself. dont stop singing Joss.
